Building Teamwork…a High Performing Team

Solution Support Options…. customized to your needs

Our reputation as a leader (the view of those above us—‘what they say about us’)… is a direct reflection of the team that we have crafted/built and have at this time. The focus of either the Webinar or the Executive Workshop will be to provide a model of a high performing team and help you assess whether you have that ‘high performing team’. Some of the traditional issues confronting teams will be discussed; more importantly, what to do about those issues.

Includes:

  • An assessment of your existing team…as a vehicle to discuss what are the elements of a high performing team;
  • An identification and discussion of some of the traditional stumbling blocks with `teams’-examples, …lack of trust, undue conflict, lack of accountability, not focusing on results,
  • A way to assess your personal reputation as a leader.

Preparation:

Readings will be provided with the Webinar. A survey will be provided in the off-site Executive Workshop to identify organizational issues practices helping to create teamwork and those that seem to be damaging teamwork.

Benefits:

For Leadership teams:
  • Understanding a model of productive and non-productive elements that constitute a high performing team;
  • Using The Profitability Formula as an approach of linking leadership—teamwork—engagement—customer attraction and retention to Profitability
  • Discussion and identifying 1 or 2…just a few activities that can improve teamwork ‘in this organization’
  • Personally, identify 1 or 2 ‘things that I can improve on’ to help us work better as a team
  • Identify a ‘go forward’ action plan

For individuals:

  • To understand what levers…personal managerial practices…’things; that I do that can improve teamwork;
  • Integration of a model of high performance…that makes sense so that you can use it to coach your team and individuals;
  • Helps to demystify the ‘human dimension’ and how it leads ultimately to profitability.
